Ann Marie Elmayan brings 10 years of fundraising experience in the nonprofit sector and currently serves as the Development Director at Spark The Journey. “Spark” (formerly known as Capital Partners for Education) provides mentorship and a community of support for young adults in Washington D.C. to chart their own paths to achieving college and career success. As the Development Director and member of the senior leadership team, Ann Marie leads a team of fundraising professionals that supports the organization’s strategic growth.
Prior to joining Spark, Ann Marie served in fundraising roles to support organizations dedicated to affordable housing, economic mobility, and nonprofit leadership development. She currently volunteers with Compass Pro Bono and recently completed an Emerging Leaders and Anti-Oppression Leadership Academy. Ann Marie holds an MSW from the University of Michigan and is certified in nonprofit management, which allows her to lead high-impact teams within a framework of social work values and ethics.
